Karen Taft-Sheeran
Owner/Director
I have more than 35 years child care experience and before opening Squiggles in 2011 I was a registered child minder in Hagley since 1999. Over the years I have cared for scores of children, while looking after my own three children. I have an NVQ 3 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development and Cordon Bleu Cookery Diploma. When I’m not working I love walking my two labradoodles and spending time with my family.

Hi, I’m Abi and I am the manager here at Squiggles! I am Karen and Pauls daughter and have been involved in the nursery since it opened in 2011. Even when I was that young, I knew this was going to be the career I wanted to go into. I have worked my way up throughout the years starting as an apprentice and now having a degree in Early Years. My passion for children shows throughout the nursery and through the amazing team we have here! I strive to make this a home from home for all the families, children and staff at Squiggles!
Chloe Roden
Toddler Room Leader/Deputy Manager
Level 3
Chloe joined us as an apprentice 5 years ago. She holds her Level 3 in childcare and has worker her way up to Toddler Room Leader and now Deputy Manager. She creates strong bonds with all of children and families!
Davina Wilkes
Chef
Davina holds a Level 3 in Early Years and Education as well as a cookery diploma.She provides nutritional meals and snacks for the children and cooks everything fresh onsite!
Gracie Dunn
Baby Room Leader
Level 3
Gracie completed her Level 3 Apprenticeship with us and has worked her way up to become Baby Room Leader, alongside Cara. Having siblings of her own, Gracie has always had a natural love for children and is passionate about providing our youngest children with a caring, nurturing and happy environment.

Cara has done her Level 3 apprenticeship with us and is now Baby Room Leader alongside Gracie.

Level 3
Amelia has done her Level 3 apprenticeship with us and is now our Pre-School Room Leader.
Izzy O’Connell
Nursery Apprentice
Working towards-Level 3
Izzy is currently working towards her Level 3 in childcare. She mainly works in the toddler room alongisde Chloe.

Tara has worked with us for over 8 years. She has reduced her working time to spend more time with family but loves to come back and help when she can. The children and staff love seeing her!
